L D Lines Ferries travel between Dover and Boulogne in around 1 hr 45 minutes. There are up to 6 crossings per day and prices start at £24 per car for a single. The best fares can be found through our comparison booking form above.
L D Lines Ferries also operate the Newhaven to Dieppe and Portsmouth to Le Havre routes. Le Havre is in Normandy, and about 200km north of Paris. The ferry crossing from Portsmouth to Le Havre takes around 5 hours 30 minutes. Dieppe is further north east along the French coast, but is well placed for routes to Paris and close to Amiens. Ferry crossings from Newhaven to Dieppe take around 4 hours.
